Take a deep breath when you feel stressed.

Breathing deeply is known to relax the body and relieve stress.

Suggestions

1. Give yourself some “breathing room” by scheduling a few minutes of “down time” in between things you have to do.
2. When you are stuck in traffic, recognize that it is beyond your control and breathe deeply to relax.
3. In the morning, visulize a pleasant day for yourself.
4. In the evening, take a few moments to reflect on how your day went.
